I noticed that the radar point cloud has fields for x, y and z. The z information is, however, always set to zero. I am assuming that this field is there for the sake of completness, but the radar sensor does not give any height information on its cluster detections?
Radar Height Information
That is correct. For the sake of convenience we use 0 there, which corresponds to the radar “height”.
